Enjoying My Break!

Hey ya'
I'm really enjoying myself with my family in Mobile, Alabama. The drive was so exhausting from Cincinnati that made me want to break the trip in half, That's what happen when you get old. Anyway, Rose and I shared the driving responsibilities. I drove from Cincinnati to Huntsville, Alabama and Rose drove for a combined total of 30 minutes. I love her for that! We're leaving for Tulane University on Friday morning to see our cousin be inducted into their athletic Hall of Fame. The rest of the time will be spent visiting family and catching up on other happenings. I needed this break for my own sanity as well as my stress recovery. The Cincinnati Kid will get back with you as soon as I hit the "Nati."

What's up! Chels and Sharon?

It is such as blessing this afternoon on Christmas Eve to share my thoughts about a lot of things including the blessing of getting to know you. I thought about something humorous to blog but when I reflected on our communication of love, support for each other, our families and families we're close to I could not venture other than say I love both of you. i love what you stand for a a human being and I love you moral beliefs in family, friends, community and most importantly GOD! I pray that we stay closely intouch with each other in 2007. There is a lot of changes that I will be making in 2007 that will probably surprise you but believe me it's for the best I'm definitely going to need your support as I continue to communicate with you either on the blogsite or personally via email. As you prepared to spend christmas with your children and I'm on the road to Mobile, Alabama, Montgomery, Alabama (taking my daughter back to Alabama State University) and Tulane University to New Orleans to see my cousin receive a special honor from the school, please give your children a great big hug from Stally as a way to say I love them. Sharon, tell Molly that the cart vehicle at the Hope is ready for her and will have her name on it. " For Molly!" Much love! Stally!

Between a Rock and a hard Place!

It's Sunday and the wifee is really excited about our trip to Mobile Alabama to see her family next week. After 30 years of marriage this is the most excited I've seen her except for.......you know! My daughter is home on break from Alabama State University. It's hard to believe that's she a sophomore. My baby! The other day I was so frekin stressed out and couldn't figure out what for. Maybe it's that damn workplace. I'm really wearing down at the school that I work at. I used to be able to influence kids. Now days they just look at me like I'm damn stupid. I think it's time for me to get another profession like a doorman at Wal-Mart. Isn't that where all old people go to get a job after retirement? On a sad note December 26th is the 3rd anniversary of my grand baby's death. (I think that's one of the reasons why the wifee wants to go out of town during this time) I'm on Christmas and New Years break from school and I'm so glad. My daughters and the wifee are on a Christmas shopping mania. I don't think they know the word called "budget." Anyway, I'm getting ready to check in and find something to eat like I can't afford to miss a meal!
